AJUT hopes to join Santo Antão Association

Associação Jovens Unidos do Tarrafal (AJUT), founded earlier this year, are preparing to submit their affiliation request to the ARFSAS, the local football association. AJUT previously submitted back in October but was rejected by the other clubs.
Tarrafal de Monte Trigo is already home to Tarrafal FC but AJUT club president, João Crisóstomo said that there is plenty of room for another team. “If the clubs change their minds, AJUT is available,” noted Crisóstomo.
Regardless of the decision, the club intends to move forward with establishing a sports development school and participate in futsal, volleyball, handball, and basketball.
