Académica grab final spot in Taça Bubista semifinal

We have our final team in the semifinals of the Taça Bubista as Académica da Boa Vista defeated Juventude on penalties. Regulation saw the two teams level thanks to goals from Lessa, a penalty, and Elvis from Académica and Pincel and Djuca for Juventude. Académica triumphed 5-3 on penalties and are set to face Desportivo in the next round.

The winner of that game will play the winner of the other semifinal between África Show and Sal-Rei. Despite the victory, Tó Monteiro, coach of Académica, recognized that his team need to play better particularly in regards to set pieces.
