Santo Antão Norte season to start January 4, 2026

The 2025/2026 regional football season in Santo Antão Norte officially opens on  January  4th with the Taça Regional match between Foguetões and Solpontense. Regional FA President Hermes  Pinto confirmed that preparations are complete, following the installation of new turf at the Estádio João  Serra. The season will begin with the Regional Cup, running over five days. In addition to the opening game, the first day of cup action will see Santo  Crucifixo  host  Beira  Mar, while Rosariense will have a bye in the first round.

The campeonato regional (regional league) starts on January  25, opening with Foguetões  vs.  Santo  Crucifixo, Solpontense  vs.  Rosariense, and Beira  Mar will start with a bye. The league will last ten rounds, concluding March 28th, and is abbreviated due to the absence of Paulense and Torreense. The weekend following the league conclusion will see the Taça final on April 4th.
